Could you spare a few hours to help POSCH?

We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help POSCH continue to deliver services to parents and carers. The roles we need volunteers for are:

  • Trustees
  • Welcome Volunteers at our Peer Support Groups in Northallerton, Thirsk, Richmond and Bedale
  • Admin support
  • Knowledge Sharing with other parents and carers
  • Fundraising

Why Volunteer?

POSCH is run by volunteers so we know how hard it can be to think about giving up some of your precious time, but we need you!

We are a friendly and dedicated group who will make you feel welcome and part of our team. You can give as much or as little of your time as you want, every little bit of support is appreciated.

There are also lots of other reasons to volunteer including:

  • Helping others
  • Making a difference
  • Develop new skills
  • Meeting new people
  • Connecting with your community

We cover all out-of-pocket costs for our volunteers including DBS Certificates (if required) and travel expenses
